His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, welcomed a US Congress delegation in Abu Dhabi. The delegation, led by US Senator Richard Burr, met with His Highness to discuss relations between the UAE and the US and the mutual interests of both countries. The meeting also tackled the current war in Yemen where the Saudi-led Arab coalition is pushing to liberate the country from Houthi rebels in the campaign called ‘’Operation Restoring Hope’’. Both sides emphasised the importance in leading a global campaign to combat terrorism and to intensify efforts of cooperation to restore peace and security.
