The UAE is paying the highest average price for a used car when compared to Africa, Asia and Latin America. That’s according to a study by car website Carmudi which also says UAE residents are paying an average of AED90,000 dirhams for a used car. The study also notes that the UAE has the lowest average age of a used car, which leads to higher prices due to the cars retaining a larger portion of their resale value. The UAE leads the region in car sales overall with an increase of 3.5% in the first half of 2015.
