UAE sends seven tons of medical supplies to Afghanistan

The UAE has sent an aid plane containing seven tons of medical supplies to Afghanistan.

The supplies are set to aid more than 7,000 healthcare workers in the fight against COVID-19.

In March, the UAE sent an urgent shipment to Afghanistan with more than 20,000 testing kits for medical professionals to use to examine thousands of people.

To date, the UAE has provided more than 641 tons of aid to more than 54 countries, benefiting around 641 thousand healthcare workers in the process.
