The UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a school in western Uganda that left over 40 dead and dozens more injured.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed the UAE's permanent rejection of all forms of violence aimed at destabilising security and stability in a country.
The ministry also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government of Uganda and its people, and to the families of the victims of this heinous crime, as well as its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
According to Reuters, militants linked to the IS terror group also abducted six students from the school, which is located near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo.
