The UAE has provided unlimited support to Yemen during the current crisis in the country. That’s the word from Mariam bint Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister for Social Affairs. Al Roumi emphasised the aid provided by the UAE to Yemen during the 66th Ordinary Session of the Arab Social Affairs Ministerial Council's Executive Bureau. The UAE has provided items such as food and medicine, and renovated key infrastructures such as power grids and water supplies. According to national news agency WAM, amongst the 17 topics discussed at the session were strategies for social work and issues regarding people with special needs.
