Travellers have reported delays of up to an hour at Dubai International Airport (DXB) due to unstable weather conditions in the UAE.

Speaking to Dubai Eye's 103.8's Business Breakfast show, Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, advised travellers to regularly check the Dubai Airports official website for the latest updates on flights.

He warned that if the weather does not clear up during the morning, there is a possibility that some flights will be diverted to other airports.

Dubai Airports and UAE airlines said they are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as the weather develops.
