The UAE is making sure that people are safe while using public transportation in the country.
A video report published on Twitter shows that the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is taking all precautionary measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
Ticketing machines, handles and seats are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised at the end of every journey before a different set of passengers board the train.
The RTA also revealed that once the trains stop operating for the day, they undergo deep-cleaning overnight.
Around 650,000 people use the Dubai Metro to get around the city every day.
