The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast rain across several parts of the UAE until Friday.
The weather bureau warned of lowered visibility due to dense fog and a drop in temperature.
They added that strong winds of up to 40kph could result in dust clouds.
Abu Dhabi Police urged residents to follow "the changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards".
