Bahrain are celebrating their maiden Gulf Cup of Nations title victory.

They beat Saudi Arabia 1-0 in the final in Doha, thanks to Mohamed Al Romaihi’s goal in the 69th minute.

Salman Al Faraj had the chance to give Saudi Arabia the lead in the 12th minute but the midfielder failed to convert from the penalty spot.

Having lost four finals in the past, Bahrain were lucky on their fifth attempt.
