Kohli named Wisden's Leading Cricketer in the World

Virat Kohli has been named as Wisden's Leading Cricketer in the World for an unprecedented third year in a row.

The Indian captain was also listed as one of Five Cricketers of the Year in the 2019 edition of the almanack, which is published today.

The 30-year-old from Delhi made 2,735 international runs last year across all formats with an average of just under 70.

Meanwhile, Smriti Mandhana was given the accolade of being the Leading Cricketer in the women's game.
