Liverpool have remained two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the English Premier League table.

They beat Chelsea 2-0 at Anfield to keep their hopes alive for a first league title in 29 years.

The Reds took the lead thanks to a Sadio Mane header in the 51st minute.

Two minutes later Mohamed Salah scored one of the best goals of the season, finding the back of the net with a spectacular left-footed effort from 25 yards.

Meanwhile, Manchester City recorded their ninth straight EPL win with a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace.

Raheem Sterling scored a brace in what was another convincing performance from the quadruple-chasing title contenders.
