Dubai Hurricanes win U16 Championship in Hong Kong

Dubai Hurricanes have been crowned U16 Champs at the international Sevens in Hong Kong The Hurricanes blew their opposition away, winning 17-10 in the final of the tournament. Despite losing their opening match of the tour, the Hurricanes roared back to win their remaining matches with Head Coach Greg Boucher describing the boys as a credit to their club and the UAE. The touring team was made up of 15 nationalities and had previously competed in Madrid, Cape Town and Cardiff. Boucher added: “We were unbeaten on all tours when arriving in Hong Kong, but unfortunately we had a game upon arrival and were just beaten in the first match, however once the boys got a good night sleep they won the next two matches. All matches were 15 aside. Today was the Sevens tournament and the boys did their teammates, club and UAE proud.
