UAE wins fencing bronze at Asian Juniors and Cadets championship

The UAE U-20 National Women's Fencing Team has claimed bronze at the 2022 Asian Juniors and Cadets Fencing Championships, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

It follows the success of Mohammed Al-Mazmi, who secured third place in the Abyei weapon competition at the same tournament.

The championship's final scores saw the UAE come third after Hong Kong and Kazakhstan respectively and ahead of India in fourth place.

Noura Al Breiki, Shahad Ahmed Khurram and Hayam Al Balushi made up the UAE team.
