Microsoft establishes Abu Dhabi Engineering Development Center

Microsoft has established an Engineering Development Center in Abu Dhabi, its first in the Middle East. The centre will integrate with a global network to support advances in AI innovation, cloud technology and advanced cybersecurity solutions.

The global network will span across Europe, the US, India and Asia and will attract a world-class team of engineers to develop tailored solutions to critical industries. 

The new Engineering Development Center will also play a significant role in the development of local talent and will support the upskilling of staff from the region.

The center aims to support Abu Dhabi's growth as a global hub for technological innovation.
