The UAE and Israel will work together in the areas of major conferences and exhibitions.

It comes following the signing of an agreement between the Dubai World Trade Centre and Israel Export Institute.

The two sides will facilitate the participation of Israeli exhibitors in the UAE by the end of the year.

The latest partnership also creates a framework for organising and exchanging business delegations between the countries and exploring joint business opportunities.

It's in line with the UAE and Israel's efforts to further peace, dialogue and stability and enhance cooperation to drive sustainable development.

The commercial potential of agreements between the two countries is estimated at $500 million per annum across several key sectors.
