Zomato sells UAE business to Delivery Hero

Indian food-delivery firm Zomato has sold its UAE business to Berlin-based Delivery Hero.

The acquisition, reportedly pitched at $172 million, is being made through Delivery Hero’s Talabat.

The German firm has also agreed to invest $50 million (AED 183 million) into Zomato’s global business, becoming a top 10 shareholder.
