Tunisian police fired tear gas to disperse protestors on Saturday after a young man died inside a police station in Hammamet.
According to reports, the man was arrested on Friday following a scuffle between two local youth groups near the capital Tunis.
Although there’s little clarity on what caused his death, demonstrators are blaming the security forces.
In a statement, the Interior Ministry said the man died after reaching the police station and officers were unable to revive him.
An official investigation into the incident is currently underway.
