1,588 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE has confirmed 1,588 new cases of COVID-19 from 527,913 tests in the past 24 hours.

Another 2,301 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 793,619.

Five patients have died, taking the total number of fatalities to 2,278.

A total of 864,102 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 68,205 are currently active.
