The UAE confirmed 1,942 new cases of COVID-19 from 253,007 tests on Friday.
Another 1,918 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 587,160.
Six patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,747.
A total of 608,070 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 19,163 are currently active.
