5 killed in horrific Ras Al Khaimah crash

Five people have been killed and one seriously injured in a horrific crash on Emirates Ring Road on Wednesday.

Police said the vehicle, with six passengers, suddenly swerved and crashed into a heavy truck as it was heading out of Ras Al Khaimah.

The emergency crews from RAK Police and the National Ambulance rushed to the site as soon as they were alerted about the incident.

The five bodies were transported via road, while the injured was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
