Abu Dhabi Police have issued guidelines for vehicles for the 44th UAE National Day on December 2. Motorists are allowed to decorate their cars from November 22 to December 6, on certain conditions. Authorities say changing the color of a vehicle and posting inappropriate phrases on a vehicle’s body are prohibited. Flags, tinted windscreens and carrying extra passengers are also forbidden. Police will be stepping up the monitoring of roads to look out for motorists who drive recklessly, perform dangerous stunts and disrupt traffic flow.
