Authorities in Abu Dhabi have issued safety guidelines for those offering food and grocery delivery services in a bid to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
From contactless payment methods to ensuring physical distancing of up to 2 meters, the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (DED) has listed out four major points that firms in the emirate must follow.
Outlets must monitor the health status of their staff, and ensure anyone showing symptoms stays at home.
They must also train them on COVID-19 risk factors and hygiene measures.
That's not all. The authority has also urged customers who receive the food parcels to "dispose all packaging immediately and wash hands afterwards".
