A general budget of AED 2.066 billion has been approved for Ajman for 2021.
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman approved the budget that focuses on the government’s strategic priorities and financial sustainability.
Economic affairs account for 40 per cent of the budget and public services for 22 per cent.
The general budget also includes housing expenditure, community facilities, public safety, entertainment and culture.
