According to national news agency WAM, four Chinese nationals diagnosed with the flu-like virus belong to the same family.

They had travelled from the Chinese city of Wuhan, where the new strain of the virus was first detected.

UAE medical officials have added that their condition is stable and under close observation.

The ministry assured that it's taking all necessary precautions based on recommendations from the WHO (World Health Organisation).

It added that all concerned departments are working around the clock to detect cases as early as possible.
