Parking will be free across most public spaces in Dubai during the New Year's holiday on Monday, January 1.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), all paid zones, except for multi-level terminals, will be free of charge. The parking meters will be reactivated on Tuesday, January 2.
The RTA also confirmed that its customer happiness centres and service provider centres (technical testing) will be closed on January 1.
However, the smart customer happiness centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf and the RTA’s Head Office will operate as usual, around the clock.
Dubai Metro's Red and Green Lines will operate continuously from 8:00 am on Sunday, December 31, to 11:59 pm on Monday night.
Dubai Tram services will run continuously from 9:00 am on Sunday, December 31, to 1:00 am on Tuesday, January 2.
There will also be some changes in the timings for public bus and marine transport services on December 31 and January 1.
