Replacement buses were in operation early on Wednesday morning between Al Khail station and UAE exchange station as a service disruption affected Dubai Metro, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed.
After around two hours of disruption, the RTA took to social media platform X to say that normal service had resumed.
For Dubai Metro users, #RTA informs you that service is back to normal on the Red Line. We thank you for your cooperation.
