Dubai Police handled more than 1.46 million calls in the final quarter of 2025, as the force reported continued high demand for emergency and non-emergency services while maintaining rapid response times.
Figures reviewed during a fourth-quarter performance assessment meeting showed 99.5 per cent of calls were answered within 10 seconds, up from 91.1 per cent in the same period a year earlier.
The meeting was led by Maj Gen Hareb Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Sector Affairs, who reviewed the operational readiness of the force’s General Department of Operations, including preparations for emergencies, disasters and periods of heavy rain.
Dubai Police said the Command-and-Control Centre remains the public’s first point of contact and plays a key role in coordinating patrol deployment and ensuring incidents are dealt with quickly.
The force also reported a 99.54 per cent security coverage rate during the quarter, compared with 98.01 percent in Q4 of 2024, pointing to improvements in operational planning and the ability to adapt to changing conditions.
During a visit to the Command-and-Control Centre, Maj Gen Al Shamsi reviewed what Dubai Police described as recent technological and operational upgrades designed to support real-time decision making and enhance public safety.
At the end of the visit, he recognised several staff members for outstanding performance, praising the department’s teamwork and professionalism.
