The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has started distributing humanitarian aid in Jordan and Pakistan, as part of its annual Ramadan initiative.
In Jordan, assistance has been directed to Syrian refugees in the the UAE-Jordanian camp in Mrajeeb Al Fhood.
The organisatoin has provided food aid to several charity organisations accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Social Development to benefit registered underprivileged families. It also delivered Ramadan food packages to families in need, living in informal tents near the camp.
In Pakistan, 250 food packages were distributed to underprivileged families in the Kator and Sakro regions.
More food aid distributions are planned across Sindh, Balochistan, and Punjab provinces to ensure that support reaches as many beneficiaries as possible.
