Experts call for more public outreach campaigns on cancer

The UAE needs more public outreach campaigns on cancer. That’s according to delegates attending the 7th UAE Cancer Congress in Dubai. Experts say there has been significant improvement in awareness levels, but more needs to be done to educate the public on the disease and the importance of regular screening. The most common types of cancer reported in the UAE are breast, thyroid, gastro-intestinal and prostate.
