A flydubai aircraft safely returned to Dubai from Kathmandu after a bird strike during take off last night.
A Spokesperson for the airline said that the flight followed standard procedures and flight FZ 576 continued as normal to Dubai.
It successfully landed at DXB Terminal 2 at 12:11am on Tuesday.
Flydubai said that the flight continued its onward journey after determining that the engine was within normal operating parameters.
The plane landed normally in Dubai and further inspection will be conducted.
The airline added that the safety of our passengers and crew is their top priority and apologised for any inconvenience caused to passengers travel schedule.

According to a post on Twitter from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Kathmandu Airport has also returned to normal operations.
