The UAE sent a plane carrying 30 tonnes of food supplies to Moldova on Thursday, to meet the humanitarian needs of internally displaced Ukrainians and refugees, especially women and children.

The aid is part of the UAE's ongoing relief air bridge established in March.

The UAE Ambassador to Ukraine, Ahmed Salim Al Kaabi, noted that the UAE has been continuously supporting international efforts to ease the hardship of Ukrainian refugees fleeing to neighbouring countries.
