His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, held talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi in Cairo.
The leaders discussed the latest regional and international developments of interest, prospects of accelerating cooperation and efforts to "consolidate joint action across all fronts".
They also touched upon the latest developments of the global battle against COVID-19 and the two countries' efforts to stem the fallout of the pandemic.
Sheikh Mohamed is accompanied by senior members including UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
A special Iftar banquet was also hosted for the UAE delegation.
