His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has highlighted the importance of taking the COVID-19 vaccine.
In a post on Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed said the UAE has come a long way in fighting the pandemic and is second globally in the rate of vaccinations.
He added that taking the vaccine is every individual's responsibility to protect their health, families and wider society.
