His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai has praised over 18 million students for participating in the Arab Reading Challenge.
Taking to social media platform X, Sheikh Mohammed said, "Today, beloved Egypt celebrated its participation in the largest reading project in the world. More than 18 million students participated in the Arab Reading Challenge from more than 31 thousand schools. Our greetings to the students of Egypt and our greetings to Egypt’s culture."

The Egyptian pupils, from over 31,000 schools, took part in the initiative as part of a wider movement to encourage the young generation to read Arabic literature.
The Challenge was launched under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
