UAE nationals travelling to India can now get a visa on arrival.
According to the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the visa duration will be for a period of up to 60 days with double entry for business, tourism, conference and medical purposes.
It will be available at six designated international airports (Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai).
However, the scheme is applicable only for those who have earlier obtained an e-visa or a regular paper visa for India.
Emiratis going to India for the first time are advised to apply for the e-visa or paper visa.
