The International Charity Organisation has reported the completion of its 2025 Ramadan campaign, with the total value of its charitable projects amounting to AED 165 million across 23 nations.
Some of the key achievements of the campaign include the distribution of 315,000 Iftar meals in highly impoverished regions and 22,000 food parcels facilitating Iftar in over 450 disadvantaged villages internationally.
In the UAE, the organisation also delivered 300,000 Iftar meals, 3,500 Ramadan food baskets, and 80,000 Fitra (Zakat al-Fitr) contributions to support families in need.
Beyond food aid, the campaign funded the building of 258 mosques, supported the drilling of 1,000 water wells in areas facing water scarcity, and provided assistance to 60,000 orphans. Additional charitable endeavours encompassed medical care and equipment provision, debt relief efforts, and support for income-generating family projects.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, highlighted that exceeding the campaign's targets demonstrates strong community engagement in charitable work and reaffirms the UAE's commitment to a dignified life for the world's most vulnerable.
He conveyed his appreciation to the generous contributors and the dedicated teams of the International Charity Organisation for their outstanding work during the Ramadan campaign, emphasising that this enduring spirit of giving will be the foundation for future initiatives.
