Jumeirah Lake Towers is to become the first smart and sustainable district, powered by 5G technology in the region.
A partnership between Etisalat Digital and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, aims to roll out smart solutions and devices across the community to reduce pollution and health risks, increase safety and provide a more sustainable environment.
Parking, street lighting, traffic monitoring, air quality and environmental performance will all be enhanced by technology led initiatives.
The new innovations are due to start being implemented at the end of the month.
