The Kyrgyz Republic has honoured UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Al Gergawi with one of its highest national awards, the Order of Friendship.

The prestigious honour was awarded by President Sadyr Japarov in recognition of Al Gergawi’s leadership and his contributions to strengthening cooperation between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan, particularly in advancing government innovation and knowledge exchange.

The award acknowledges the successful transfer of the UAE’s Government Accelerators model — a move that has helped enhance government performance and deliver tangible improvements across multiple sectors.

The Order of Friendship was presented by the Chairman of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev during the World Governments Summit in Dubai, as part of the Government Experience Exchange Forum.

Speaking at the forum, Kyrgyz officials described the UAE’s governance model as an inspiring benchmark for institutional development, capacity building and accelerating achievement, highlighting the partnership as a strong example of trust‑based international cooperation and knowledge transfer.

Al Gergawi expressed his appreciation for the honour, saying it reflects a distinguished journey of cooperation led by the leadership of both nations and recognises the growing strategic partnership in modernising government work.

The World Governments Summit 2026 has brought together more than 60 heads of state and government, over 500 ministers, and thousands of participants from around 150 countries.

The event features hundreds of sessions led by global leaders, experts and decision‑makers focused on shaping the future of governance.
