Firefighters managed to contain a massive blaze that broke out in an auto market in Dubai's Ras Al Khor area within 44 minutes on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Dubai Civil Defence said eight car showrooms and 55 vehicles were damaged in the incident.
Authorities said an emergency crew was dispatched to the site within six minutes of receiving the alert at 5:28 am.
Teams from Rashidiya, Port Said and Al Qusais fire stations managed to contain the spread of the blaze without any injuries.
An investigation has been launched to identify what triggered it.
