The world’s first university focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) has cleared a major step before it opens for classes in Abu Dhabi later this year.
The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has received licensing and accreditation from the UAE’s Commission for Academic Accreditation.
It’s a key accomplishment prior to the University starting classes in August for the first batch.
Launched in October 2019 and located in Masdar City, the University will offer Master of Science (MSc) and PhD-level programmes.
All the students will be provided with scholarships, monthly allowance as well as other benefits like health insurance and accommodation.
MBZUAI has received over 1,200 applications so far and they are in the final stage of evaluation.
We are proud to announce that #MBZUAI has been awarded licensing and accreditation from the UAE’s Commission for Academic Accreditation (#CAA). The certification affirms that we will provide the highest quality academic programs to our students. https://t.co/ysTynGLKSg pic.twitter.com/ZKNxmdbMLe
