New alert system to warn motorists of bad weather in Abu Dhabi

Motorists can now stay updated about the traffic jams and unstable weather conditions with the help of Abu Dhabi Police app.

A new feature in the app sends alerts to smartphone users, warning them of the weather conditions and traffic congestion.

The initiative has been taken to increase the safety of motorists and enable them to pre-plan alternative routes.
