Ten new buses worth AED 6 millions have been added to Sharjah's Intercity routes fleet. The move is the Roads and Transport Authority's response to the rising demand for public buses travelling from Sharjah to other emirates. All the buses are air conditioned with a seating capacity of 45 each. They start from the emirate's major stations at Al Jubail, Al Rolla and Sharjah International Airport. Sharjah's intercity bus fleet now has a total of 69 vehicles.
