Police officers in Abu Dhabi will be trained in sign language as part of a new scheme to promote more interaction with People of Determination and their families.
The ‘Ethra Programme’ is designed to activate and enhance their role in society.
The initiative will also run workshops, sponsor talented people of determination and provide training for officers in airport inspection procedures.
It's part of Abu Dhabi’s Strategy for People of Determination.
The scheme is a joint programme run by the police and the Zayed Higher Organisation.
