An injured trekker stranded at Dibba Al Fujairah has been airlifted to safety.
The Arab national, said to be in his 30s, had alerted the officials about suffering from fatigue during his trek in the Jabal Ghob mountain region.
A rescue team headed by the Ras Al Khaimah Police rushed to the site, and transported the man to the Saqr hospital after administering first-aid.
The officials have urged the public to avoid dangerous terrains and follow safety measures when trekking.
