Ras Al Khaimah reduces capacity for malls, cinemas, gyms

Ras Al Khaimah has announced a new set of COVID-19 precautionary measures, including limiting capacity at malls to 60 per cent.

The capacity at entertainment venues, cinemas, fitness centres, gyms, pools and private beaches at hotels have also been reduced to 50 per cent.

Meanwhile, public beaches and parks will have a limit of 70 per cent. 

In restaurants and cafes, only four people will be allowed to sit together, with a minimum distance of two metres between tables.

‏The authorities have also introduced a 10-people limit for family and social gatherings, such as weddings, and a 20-people limit for funerals.
