South Korean President Lee Jae-Myung received a guard of honour during a tour of Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi.
He was briefed about the history of the monument that symbolises the heroism and sacrifices of brave UAE nationals in defending the country and protecting its values and achievements.
His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, accompanied the South Korean leader who is in the UAE on a state visit.
At the end of the tour, Jae-Myung penned a message in the Wahat Al Karama guestbook, expressing his appreciation to the martyrs of the UAE.
