Special UAE committee to assess rain-related damage

The UAE Cabinet has directed the formation of an urgent committee to assess the damages caused due to torrential rains in the country.

It will be headed by the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and will work in coordination with the local authorities in various emirates.

The Cabinet has asked the committee to submit a detailed report and to take necessary measures to protect lives and property in coordination with the concerned entities in all the emirates.
