A teenager who stole a delivery motorcycle and set it on fire has been placed under judicial probation by the Dubai Juvenile Court.
According to the Public Prosecution, the 17-year-old and an accomplice stole the bike that was parked outside a restaurant and then drove off to another area before setting it on fire.
"When they got off, the juvenile accused pulled out the bike's petrol tube and set it on fire," the authority added in a statement.
The other person involved in the crime was referred to the Misdemeanour Court.
The Public Prosecution urged parents to keep an eye on their children's activities and educate them on the importance of following the rules and the consequences of irresponsible behaviour.
