Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways have cancelled more flights to and from New York, Newark, and other destinations in the United States due to the severe impact of the snowstorm affecting these areas.
In a statement posted on its official website, Emirates stated that the following flights between Dubai and the US, in addition to connecting flights, will be cancelled on February 23 and February 24:
- EK204 / 23 February – New York (JFK) to Dubai
- EK209 / 22 February – Athens to Newark (EWR)
- EK210 / 23 February – Newark (EWR) to Athens
- EK237 / 23 February ‑ Dubai to Boston (BOS)
- EK238 / 23 February ‑ Boston (BOS) to Dubai
- EK201 / 23 February ‑ Dubai to New York (JFK)
- EK202 / 24 February ‑ New York (JFK) to Dubai
- EK205 / 23 February ‑ Milan to New York (JFK)
- EK206 / 24 February ‑ New York (JFK) to Milan
- EK203 / 23 February – Dubai to New York (JFK)
- EK204 / 24 February – New York (JFK) to Dubai
- EK209 / 23 February ‑ Athens to Newark (EWR)
- EK210 / 24 February ‑ Newark(EWR) to Athens
The airline added that any passengers connecting to New York, Newark, and Boston on the cancelled flights "will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin".
It advised guests impacted by the flight cancellations to contact their travel agency or the airline for rebooking.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We continue to monitor the situation closely," said the airline.
Etihad Airways has also shared an official announcement with further cancellations to flights leading to and from New York and Boston, with the following details:

- EY002 New York (JFK) – Abu Dhabi (AUH) (23 February)
- EY007 Abu Dhabi (AUH) – Boston (BOS) (23 February)

- EY002 New York (JFK) – Abu Dhabi (AUH) (24 February)
The airline noted that due to the evolving weather conditions, "further delays or cancellations may occur if conditions require".
Passengers impacted by the airline's cancellations are being assisted, with options provided to rebook alternative flights or get a full refund.
Guests are urged to check both airlines' official channels for any updates to plan their journey accordingly.
