The UAE's Operation Gallant Knight 3 has distributed 29,374 packs of Arabic bread to 293,830 individuals in Gaza.
The bakery project was introduced by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) to help alleviate the severe shortage of bread in the Gaza Strip.
Launched in November 2023, under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Gallant Knight 3 Operation reflects the UAE's ongoing commitment to providing crucial humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Earlier, the UAE sent five automatic bakeries to the Egyptian city of Al Arish, ahead of their entry into the Gaza Strip, as part of the "Gallant Knight 3" humanitarian operation to support the people of Palestine.
It's in response to the severe shortage of bread in Gaza, when operational, will meet the daily needs of more than 420,000 people.
